Bought a 2nd computer Acer desktop ???
On the outside of the computer its marked Windows 7 so I assume the shop that sold it to me did the 10 update( hoping that they were genuine copy's ? as I've no idea how to tell the difference) Anyway Everything worked fine for 6 months but after another unwanted 10 update, suddenly the File manager started bugging. which is extremely annoying as it rather defeats the whole idea of a Computer as I cant find anything anymore with out waiting 20 minutes for the little green lineIf its does'nt just stop!!! After several Q/A with highly complicated answers it seems impossible to fix.
Right!!! I figure I'll JUST do a systems restore but have no idea where to find the famous Windows Key. And after reading all the horror story's about Systems restore of 3/4 /25/ 80 hours and still not booting. I figure I'll just have to buy another 2nd hand computer with 7 on it ..It'll be cheaper and less hassle. THANKS Microsoft

WIndows 10 on my Surface Pro 3 is remarkably stable and responsive. Sounds like you have a slow processor instead of an actual problem with the OS coupled with a poorly configured operating system. Learn some basic system management.
Dave:
You bought a used computer. Not very smart of you.

I've got Win10 in about 100 computers that I admin, any stability issues I run into are 100% end user created. Windows 10 is very stable (and quite honestly, Windows itself has been incredibly stable since windows 7.)

Master Of Puppets:
I run W10 on both my laptop and gaming system and they work just fine. I even installed it on an "unsupported' 7 year old HP computer and it was very stable. This was surprising since HP supposedly doesn't have drivers for W10 for that system, AND the graphics card manufacturer went out of business about 6 years ago. I was using a W7 driver but it still worked pretty well.

Does Acer have some later Software drivers for the hardware you have bought? You may need to download these to get the right interface between the Windows software and the Acer hardware.
