being a moody teen I have a habit of locking myself away and watching movies. I used a site called vmovee or something like that and it was packed with popups!! after pressing pause for the 5th time a popup came up saying that my computer had a alert that I had been infected with spyware. it took a few goes and task manager t get it to go away.. I have a tech crazed dad so I cant go to him I have had a bad history with ahemmalware and viruses. I am a little scared that if I am that it will hack and maybe frik up my computer and all my personal info (I have a wide range of online accounts I log into daily) should I be afraid. I have panda security and the high premium anti malware bytes. should that be enough to protect me?

Haru:
That popup was trying to scare you into clicking the popup! It was just a trick to get you to click on it! IF you did click the popup, you most likely installed some malware. Use your Malware bytes program to do a full scan of your computer to check for malware.
Naruto:
It only protects you if you allow it, if it says you have spyware you have to be the one to click resolve/delete/fix/remove.
Jacques:
Okay, please ignore that message. If the message said that your computer has been compromised or is being tracked, then It's a virus. There is no way that they are tracking you from a simple website.

In other words, you're safe! Don't worry!

Sir Caustic:
You should be afraid.
art:
the free version of super antispyware would also help
chrisjbsc:
NOT if you are being silly with the sites you visit, no!
