It's no longer pro vs con, you'd be stupid to run a 32-bit OS with a 64-bit processor. There are no advantages anymore. Always install a 64-bit OS. In the early days of Vista and Ubuntu 10.04 there was a small argument to be made for 32-bit still being faster sometimes; but no longer and the memory address space is absolutely essential today. Also 64-bit CPU's have extensions that are widely used compared to back then. Programs won't run, even 32-bit compiled ones due to the lack of certain extensions.
Joseph:
Well basically 64 bit has more compatibilities, it is more powerful, able to process more data which means it's obviously faster, also it can run more programs then a 32 bit can. 32 bit can't do as much and isn't as powerful or as fast, simple as that 🙂
William:
64-bit: able to use up to a ridiculously large amount of RAM that no current PC can even have inside of it, is the only version of CPU available today

32-bit: able to use up to 4GB RAM, which really isn't enough for anything except home/office use.

32 bits? Hey, it's 2017, dude…
