I'm using Firefox, and when I try to click a video on a webpage, sometimes it will redirect that page elsewhere (another website entirely) and re-opens the video's page in a new tab. Click the video in that tab repeats the process. I enabled Firefox's option to "warn me when a page tries to redirect" but this does nothing and I don't get a warning.

I ran my anti-virus/malware program and it finds nothing and I update it frequently so that should not be the issue. Any thoughts on what's happening and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Bryan S:
its how it goes with some sites, sometimes you cant really change it.
But if you could, try going to your "internet options" in the control panel, on the last page (advanced), tick on "prevent redirecting the page" …or something like that.
Also the killjasmin extension and the adblocker, might help.
Silva:
Try Antispyware softwares like Wipersoft, Malwarebytes.. Antivirus cant find adware.
Spock (rhp):
this is built into the link you clicked and you can't change that with any Firefox control [or any other browser's controls either]
Banuazizi:
maybe install adblocker to stop popups ?
