Hello everyone,

So I know it might sound silly and some one might of asked this question in the past.

But here we go, I'm new to Web development and I would like to start with something, maybe get some extra cash in the long run, I know its not going to happen any time soon, but I'm determined to learn and achieve my goal.

I had a book on my table that I bought a while ago, called "HTML,XHTML & CSS" All-in-one for dummies, by Andy Harris, 2011. 8 books in 1.

So the question would probably be, should I buy different book slightly newer. As web development has advanced since 2011, I understand that foundation of web development probably has stayed the same.
But before I take of and start reading the book, I would like to ask for some advice or tip to get me started.

Thank you in advance.

Get a current book. HTML changes all the time, and five years is a LONG time.
If you are the "learning by doing" type, check this free course: https://www.codecademy.com/learn/web

This is what I think. You can buy books if you like reading it or learn better using it but i think its a waste of money, THere are a lot of useful materials online for free. THere are also websites and youtube videos for free
Pauline:
You should buy a new book; updated. As long as you you are willing to read it. #Webdesigndevelopmentcompany

If the one that you currently have does not meet your needs, purchase a new one!
