This morning I went to login to my account on my PC and saw a strange second account with the name "RGA" or something like that. I couldnt login to it because it was password protected so I just logged Into my account and went to delete it, only to find it didn't exist anymore. I was suspicious but didn't think anything of it the rest of the day. Until I was falling asleep and I noticed my PC wake up and I watched as It opened Firefox, went to Google, put my email in and that's where I shut my PC down and took the battery out. The last "sketchy" thing I downloaded was a demo to recover deleted files and I never fully unistalled it, I just deleted the desktop shortcut and download file. What should I do to get rid of the guy? Should I be worried about any other computer in my house?

Best Answer:

Finn: Firstly install Avast, Malwarebytes and do a full scan (on malwarebytes). If it detects nothing, make sure your firewall is on and secure. If the hacker still appears, Contact your ISP (internet service provider) and explain your experiance. They may change your IP address and by then the hacker should be gone.
