I was playing a game on my pc and then suddenly my PSU explodes, Im going to get it replaced but the thing I'm worrying about is if it harmed any other parts of my pc, I can't open it up because I'm not good at that type of stuff and I don't know what model PSU I have because the pc was my brothers then he gave it to me, so the question is Have I damaged other parts of my computer

It is most likely that a capacitor or diode bridge failed in the PSU that would cause any form of explosion. These normally do not present a significant problem to the rest of the computer.

If, as you say, you are not good at taking computers apart, I would take it to a computer repair shop and get them to replace the PSU. That way you should get the right type of PSU and you will get the expertise to have the replacement performed correctly. It might add a few dollars over buying the PSU and trying to install it yourself, but it could be money well spent.

If it literally exploded; yes probably. If it just overheated or fried then no, it should have features to keep it from frying other parts.

You mean CPU and if don't know how to install it or if the computer is old, I recommend hiring a tech!

You should be fine to replace it …it's very simple to do…If you aren't sure how….google it to find an instructional video…good luck!
