Now I do not know if it is my email or gmail account?
If you use webmail or an email client such as Windows Live Mail that is using IMAP to get your emails, then the emails should still be on the email server. In these cases, you should be able to log on to the server with webmail and see the emails.
However, is you use an email client that is using POP3, then the client may be configured to delete emails from the server when they are downloaded to the client. In this case, the only copy of the emails will be in the computer.
If the disk is still working, then it can be installed in a different computer or connected as an external drive. In Windows 8.1 and Windows Live Mail, the email is stored in sub-folders below:
Drive:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Mic… Live Mail
The email files are called XXXXXXXX-DDDDDDDD.eml where each 'X' represents a hexadecimal character and each 'D' represents a decimal digit.
I hope this helps.
The email isn't stored on the computer but on a server somewhere. On the new computer log into your account and the emails will be there (unless you've deleted them).
Please check on Google or Yahoo search there are a number of application softwares are available please consider any best one.
