My motherborad has 4 ram slots 2 for DDR3 and 2 for DDR4. So I have DDR3 16gb(8*2). can i get DDR4 for other two slots ?

randike2007: If you look at the Memory Support List for that board and scroll down to where the DDR3 list ends and the DDR3L begins, it says-

"Do Not Mix DDR3 and DDR3L and DDR4 memory modules."

It says the same between DDR3L and DDR4.

Only one type will work at a time, so either use DDR3 or DDR4 but not both at the same time

But I want to ask, do you really need more than 16 GB? Few things need more than that.
