Dave is correct, you need to list your specs and the wattage output of your power supply.

The power supply is rather delicate because not only does it power your PC but a good one corrects power fluctuations. All power supplies are capable of different output capacities, some as low as 250w, some as high as 1500w.

Let's say that in a perfect world you had the right power supply. Then the first thing you'd do is check all of your connections, from the RAM, every cable, Graphics card, etc.. Is the graphics card properly seated? Are the PCI-E power connectors fully plugged in and you used the PCI-E connector, not the 8 or 4 pin CPU connector.

Have you tried using a different monitor cable? Believe it or not I've seen those things go bad.

Marduk:
Reseat your memory boards. Did you use a wrist strap? If you had static electricity, you could have destroyed a component. Also make sure video card seated correctly.
geek-in-training:
How are you connecting to the TV? If it is HDMI, you may need to connect to a monitor first and set the video output to HDMI before hooking up to the TV.
Dave:
To get any sort of help at all, you need to list the specifics of ALL your components.
