CPU fan does not spin, maybe a CPU fan problem? Tried leaving only mobo, monitor, 1 ram, PSU but still nothing. No beeps, no turning on even for a few seconds, no fans spinning even PSU fan

It could be a short. Failing that, and considering that there is no reaction even in your PSU, I would test your power switch. They are pretty robust and fail rarely enough that they are often overlooked. You can test it simply by disconnecting the wires from the motherboard and then using a screwdriver to momentarily bridge the pins. It should start right up if that was the issue. If so, either replace the switch or, if you don't often use it, just hook the reset button in to the power button leads and use it for your power switch.
pdl756:
Possibly the power supply. USB runs at 5V. Processor, fans and most everything else uses the 12V rail.

Hi so time to take it to a computer tech for help. chances are the power supply has died.
Bob:
Sounds like it could be shorting – did you build it yourself? Has it ever worked before?
