Charleys: You plug one in and ignore the other.

The units power supply has 2 x 8 PIN plugs because they don't know what GPU you are going to install. For example a Nvidia Titan will need those 2 power plugs.

Some of the older 5/6/7/8/9 Series graphics cards requires 2 x 8 pin connectors to power them. This was especially important for Titan class or Firepro class cards. The 10 series cards are more power efficient and thus only need 1.

I'm curious as to what an "8 bit power port" is. Can I use it with an old NES I have laying around?
