Is $1100 a good price to pay for this early 2013 Macbook Pro?

How many more years can I realistically expect from it, assuming I don't damage it of course?

Do you think this is a good

I think it is too late to avoid damage…

"SMALL DINGS ON FRONT AND BACK CORNERS, TINY DIMPLE ON BOTTOM, RUBBER GASKET AROUND SCREEN HAS SOME NICKS AND A FEW PIECES MISSING (DOES NOT AFFECT THE DISPLAY). SOME LIGHT WEAR ON THE LETTER “A” KEY CAP. BATTERY: 793 CYCLES. WARRANTY: 30 DAYS."

Look at the photos. The seller is making it clear that this computer is a bit beat up. It will need a new battery soon.

The one at the link below has 4 times the warranty. The shop is rather discriminatory, so they likely would not take his MacBook Pro; it's too dinged and scratched. You know, a used car that has dents and scratches is very lowly priced compared with the same car all smooth and shiny.

It is an early 2013, no longer under warranty except the 30 days offered by seller.
It is selling for a hair less than others

retail store sellers ask for more

The only long term study published including Macbook reliability had them average after 2 years, but that was back in 2009. There is no number of years unless you are able to buy a warranty, and then it is good for the warranty life.

The used ones are better value than new ones, but I personally have no purpose to spend more than $400 for a laptop.

No Apple product it worth it so i can't comment on that.
