I believe the socket types are the same, and they are of the same family I just want to make sure everything matches lol

Silas: As long as the BIOS supports it, I see no problems. Same socket, same TDP (95W heat dissipation), same bus speed. Main difference is clock multiplier, clock speed, and on-board cache.
Check the motherboard vendor site for BIOS updates, or at least make sure that CPU is on the supported list first.
