I asked him to take a picture with his hand on his head doing a duckface and he did. Is he safe? He's 15.

Other answer:

Julia:
Its not about if it is safe, it's about if you are safe. I have a bunch of wonderful internet friends and two of them are my best friends. If you meet the right people and you trust them and everything seems like its in the clear, then you should go for it. I have nothing against internet friends. Just try to get a little more information out of them before you become too trusting of them

All you now know is that it is actually the person on the camera that you are communicating with. It doesn't mean that any of his info is correct. That he isn't some kind of perv, or psycho, etc. That takes time and lots of "chatting" to discover.

Do NOT agree to meet somewhere unless there will be many other people there as well for your protection. (preferably including some adults who will watch out for you and better yet somewhere with cops present.) Do NOT give out any personal information that could locate you (address, phone number, etc.) That can be done after meeting face to face under secure conditions as I earlier mentioned.

You can have a fun time on the internet only and each can be whatever they want to be. Remember: Don't let him convince you to post anything embarrassing to yourself, or to even do anything on live feed that might come back to haunt you. (I remember one girl saying that she "flashed" a guy on live camera thinking it was no problem. He did a screen save and her breasts were all over the internet with her face included. She very quickly became the best known girl in her school!!!)

Deirdre:
Just meet in a public place and tell other people (your parents or friends) where you will be.
Roman:
You should video chat him to see if hes real and if so meet in public places for a few times dont have him come over anytime soon tho meet in public places to get to know him first to know hes not a messed up creeper kid and be ready to call someone if you need help theres alot of messed up people in this world.
hd.glitchesyt:
Well, I don't ever meet internet-friends in real life cause its kinda dangerous.

But if you really wanna do it then make sure to have with a parent.
