My CPU is an athlon x2 6400+ and I'm wondering if that's a decent temp for it.

Best Answer:

m8Xpayne: That's a really good temp for that CPU.

Typically it's recommended to keep those old Athlon 64 CPU below 65c/150f. Any more than that would cause the CPU to degrade faster than desired.
Those chips will throttle at around 170f and over.

The human body is 98F

I think that CPU runs at 118F without cooling.

That's not hot at all..

my GPU reaches 98c that's 208.4

Old low performance CPU, but the 47.8C is OK when it can run 55C-63C

It won't be a problem until it hits 175-200F.
