So they installed cerberus anti theft on my phone and they can read everything and monitor what i do on my phone. So does a vpn hide me or is there anything i can do to keep my privacy? I dont feel comfortable login in my social medias with the app and btw i cant deleted it

Other answer:

This software can:
Locate and track your device
Tell you how much battery remains on the device
Lock the device
Set off an alarm at full volume (even if the device is set to silent mode)
Display a message that stays on the screen (and also make your device speak the message)
Take pictures, screenshots and even record videos, to identify possible theft
Get the location history of the lost/stolen device
Wipe the internal memory and the SD card
Hide Cerberus from the app drawer
Record audio from the microphone
Get a list of last calls sent and received
Get information about cell phone network and Wi-Fi network the device is using
Start a remote shell to execute commands

VPN will only help with you getting not tracked.

Are you sure ?
I think you are being a little paranoid.

in this summary of the features (OK, not the manufacturers website)…

It does not list full spying…
(and if it did…. that is an awful lot of watching to do, very few people have the time !!)

It does list ability to check location, and calls… (which if it was stolen, someone 'might' make calls to others)
But calls probably are listed on detailed billing anyway ….. so nothing new.

It also lists ability to hide the app from the app list (but you know / can see it … so not hiding)

AND ability to wipe the phone – useful if stolen 😉

if you use message apps (IM, facebook, WeChat, Viber, Line, Skype etc)
I don't think it knows…

I don't think it knows 'any' Data useage…
but perhaps you know better.

How old are you?

What have you done in the past for your parents to take this drastic step? Have you done risky or stupid things or are your parents just being overprotective?

What are you trying to hide from your parents?

EDIT: If you haven't done anything stupid, it's time to have a talk with your parents.

EDIT2: 17 is a little old for parents to be doing this. I would be more understanding if you were 12-13. If your parents insist on doing this, there is not much that you can do. Remember the Golden Rule- he who has the gold makes the rules! As long as they are paying for things, they make the rules.

The only way to stop them spying is resetting your phone. Back up your data, factory reset your phone, set up a passcode (or password, if your paranoid of them brute forcing by typing in each possible combo). Then install your own anti-theft.
No using a VPN will only change your location not your tracked history. I would rather uninstall the app and claim it was crashing or try talking to your parents about your privacy.
Lucius T Fowler:
Start downloading tons of of porn within your home network to your pa's harddisk. Preferrably over night. Will not even cost you a dime, because you're within your local WiFi. If you don't know how to do it, ask a friend.

I bet, once your pa's computer is busy downloading porn, he will release all of your internet restrictions.

Of course a vpn will not hide you, the software is on the phone.
