So I was browsing FaceBook casually, and then all of a sudden it said Faronics antivirus has detected threats and blocked the following programs and files. Does that mean the computer wouldve gotten infected, or is it just a warning?

Other answer:

scott:
Your anti virus program, Faronics, has detected a Virus and has taken action to stop it.
You should run a full scan with your Anti Virus program.
If you Anti Virus program is NOT Faronics, but something else, it could be a HOAX virus Alert just to get you to click on a link so you can be infected.

Faronics caught some kind of malware (probably a virus), and quarantined it. If you didn't have an antivirus, or if Faronics had missed the threat, it would have infected your computer.
William:
No, it is a ruse to get you to download THEIR Malware or Virus. Ignore these fake pop-ups, they are very common.

They are "click bait" to get you to download a virus or Trojan.
