You are getting different answers most likely because your question is too vague. Update your question and tell us if you meant:
– My router has a new Wi-Fi password and I'm having trouble connecting my iPad to my Wi-Fi.
– I literally have a brand-new router that I need to configure. How do I do that if I only have an iPad?
– How do I change my router's Wi-Fi passcode if I only have an iPad?

I see you've created a 2nd question on the same subject, except your 2nd question explains that you have a new router you're trying to configure. In that case, you should grab a short length of Ethernet cable and connect a laptop to one of the router's LAN ports. Then follow the instructions in your router's User Guide for setting up your new router.
you connect a device using a LAN cable and use a browser to get the menu up. the label stuck to the router tells you the login to use. you cannot configure a router using wifi otherwise any foll could alter every router out there.
This will either be on the sticker on the side of the router or in the box or contact whoever setup the router in your house for the password
Go to settings-wifi.
