An anti-virus will not get your files back. If they are all encrypted and you have no backups you have two choices.
Forget about the files
Pay and most of the vile evil extortionists give you the key. Most, not all. Some will take the money and then
Depending on now they were paid. Some ways will give them your accounts.
Well there are ways to fix this.
1) Go to the store you bought it and ask if they can remove a virus (I believe best buy can remove virus)
2) Any antivirus may help.
3) Factory reset if this files are not important to you.
But if you want to keep this files than you may as well go to best buy and ask for them to remove the virus. They might charge you though.
Those files are gone for good. So I suggest you forget about them. If you're on win10 then maybe you can refresh your computer in the recovery settings and choose keep your files.
You can't do anything.
I had the same problem with a Friends Computer ( The Crypto Virus)
Lucky he had back up on external Hard Drive.
I had to Reformat his Hard Drive and reinstall the OS.
You have choices:
. Ignore it and hope it isn't true.
. Reinstall Windows and restore your important files from your backup.
. Pay the money, and HOPE the criminal attackers stick to their word.
This is a long shot…..but worth a try….
