no one knows how?
Looking at your update it is obvious you need to first EXPAND on your question to what you REALLY want to know.
IF the HDD is large enough to hold Win7 then ALL you need to do is put in the DVD for Win 7 and at the point for installation you will ONLY have the option to format and install new (REASON Win XP – WIN 7 was NEVER an upgrade option). Follow the IDIOTS guide onscreen and you will format and install.
You need to have a Windows 7 DVD and format the hard drive.
From the Windows7 CD. Boot off of it. During the installation process there is an option to Format the Hard Drive.
you would need to see if your computer has what is required for windows 7 ; my dell was not compatible, unless I wanted to spend lots of $$, so I got a refurbished HP for cheap with windows 7 pro installed………….go to the microsoft website – there is a section to see if your PC is ready for win 7
I build my own , must have a virus in it , because I don't have to use the damn anti- ****, tell me now?
