i downgraded from windows 10 for to windows 8. the reason i did that doesnt matter, but on the device manager it doesnt show amd radeon, it shows the other.

when i try to install the amd it says its installed already. its like the hardware ever since i downgraded is not even in my system.

Jalen: With some PCs, if there is a build in graphic card, the BIOS settings will make it default to that graphic card. Usually you have to go into the BIOS and turn off that card before it will allow you to use the add on graphic card.

I would uninstall the AMD drivers from control panel programs and features, then go to device manager and delete the display adapter.
Restart and windows should redetect the card as a standard vga adapter. You can then reinstall the AMD drivers and all should be well

that's interesting because my Wife has an Asus laptop that was giving her lots of trouble….come to find out that the AMD graphic was the cause, so I uninstalled the AMD and it's using the Microsoft graphics just fine !!!
