Other answer:

denise:
Flip CD over to read the other side.
Make sure that you have the proper software to read that CD's contents (music?)
Contact seller or HP for the customer support that you already paid for.
Search Google for any advice on using that "HP all in one destop " model, whichever it is.
That is all that can be suggested from your information.
Bookbinder:
Read the instruction book. It should explain how to print on a CD, or how to copy a CD. You cannot play a music CD by inserting it in your printer.
len again:
What happens when A CD or other removable media is inserted is down to the Autoplay .settings..
Autoplay settings are found via control panel ..

This go's.for all versions of windows , learn how to use one and know them all .. .

Maybe the CD you used is the wrong format? Maybe you need to double click on something in File Explorer.
Ron75:
If your CD isn't blank, you can go to Explorer and open it and click run. If you can't do that go into My Computer and right click the icon for your CD Drive and see if it is set on Automatic Run or whatever terminology they use.
