Okay so my dad decided I was spending too much time on my laptop so he decided to demote my user account to a standard one (I have windows 10) and I really want to install SVP 14 (Sony Vegas Pro 14, it's an editing software) but I can't do it without the Admin password which, unfortunately I don't know.

On top of that, HTPC (Hidetools Parental controls) are installed on here and I can't access the control panel (I can access stuff inside it if I search it up in the windows search bar in the bottom left corner) and I also can't access the command prompt so therefore I have no way of activating the hidden admin account (if there is one). The task manager trick doesn't work; I've tried but when I hit "Create task" it says I don't have the permission to do it. Basically I don't know what else to do and I can't reset the admin password because then I'll be in trouble big time. Help please?

PurpleVeridia: There is one thing to try, see if you can boot into safe mode. From there, you might be able to access a command prompt. Hold down Shift and press Restart.

There is no way you can install any programs while you are a regular user. You will have to ask your dad to install the program for you. Sony Vegas Pro 14 isn't free anyway.
ELfaGeek:
It sounds like your Dad's Parental Control App is doing it's job.

So: Ask him to install SVP 14 App for you that you LEGALLY paid for, or, accept his reason for NOT allowing you to download a PIRATED App.

He has every right to protect YOU from yourself.

You'll get no help here. What you're asking is a violation of the Y!A Terms of Service. You've been reported.
Adrian:
Get your dad to download it for you, on your machine. Then have him install it as well. Problem solved at that point.
chrisjbsc:
SIMPLES! Ask your Dad if he will do the installation for you!
John D:
Your dad is a smart man.
