Best Answer:

heyitshb: No, but you probably don't have an infection. If something told you that you are infected then it was a scareware ad. You do not have anything.

If you have suspicious apps installed, then it is likely you installed a malicious app. Turning it off and on will not remove it. Resetting to factory default will remove most.

Other answer:

heyitshb:
Restarting phone does not take away malware or viruses from your, if you actually want to remove them then try to factory reset your phone. It might help you to remove malware or viruses and threat from your phone.
Kim Kredible:
No but in many cases if you get a notification like that on your phone its a scam to get you to download something that actually might put malware or some sort of virus on your phone
Bob:
A well written virus will install as a system app, so a reset won't touch it. But MWB and/or a good anti-virus app will usually find it and get rid of it.
MaX:
No, using anti-virus / anti-malware & removing suspicious & unnecessary apps will get rid of them
ScσττRΛSC³:
No.

It doesn't do that on a computer so a phone wouldn't be any different.

nobby:
It depends on the malware; you can use Avast for Mobile and Malwarebytes, they are both free.

This depends on the malware.
Fake:
No but resetting to fabric settings most likely will.
