i cant tell if its installed upside down or not. i figured if it is the only complication would be over heating cause the fan would be blowing inside instead of outside.
Depends on the case. If there are vents directly underneath the PSU. Then you've mounted it upside down. If the bottom of the case is a solid piece then you've mounted it correctly. It's more advantageous for it to both intake and exhaust air from outside the case.
Looks correct, the fan on top of the PSU is in the proper position, and I assume it is venting out the back.
PSU mounted in the bottom of cases is usually inverted from PSU installed in the top of cases.
Maybe eVGA customer support might know.
