I assume these games were working before on this Internet you got if so try the following
1- do a speed test online see if your Internet is slow or not
2- check the website of the game if it's opening or not
3- contact your Internet service provider cause sometimes they block pages you don't want them blocked they will open them for you 🙂
Richard:
It sounds as though that you are not getting the required connection to the online games server(s). This could be in the computer's or the router's firewalls or possibly be the ISP blocking certain ports.

Check what DNS server(s) you are using. Try changing the DNS servers for the computer to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. These are Google's public DNS servers.

I hope you find the problem.

Kevy:
Run a speed test and get a reading of your current Bandwidth and Latency…

Then go to the Gaming Site and find out their Recommended bandwidth for playing their game.

Also run a speed test while on wired Ethernet to see if better… you may have to play on wired connection.

Have you checked what ports the games require? Once you know this, check that your router and firewall are configured to allow traffic via the appropriate ports.
