You should set them up a spare account (you can call it GUEST) on the computer, and let them log into that account.

When you log into your email, the server sets a cookie. Then that computer is you until the cookie gets deleted. If your friend uses a different site, it is possible for both of you to be logged in at the same time, just at different sites. But if your friend has to log you out before he can log in, then the computer is no longer you.

You should have a cookie manager specifically for that purpose. Find your browser's TOOLS menu and click ADDONS and look for a cookie manager.

Equality 7-2521:
They can if they are able to access their email server using a web client. If they must use an email client (like Outlook), you can create an additional account setup for them, which logs into their server with their name and password to retrieve mail, and then just delete that when they are done.

This won't affect your email account(s), but they will need to be able to log on to your PC to do this.
